Mandatory Conformity Attestation
Mandatory Conformity Attestation is carried out in the forms of:
Mandatory conformity attestation is realized in respect of objects of the conformity assessment included in “Nomenclature of products, services, personnel and other objects of conformity assessment subject to mandatory conformity attestation in the Republic of Belarus”.
It establishes:
— the types of products, services, personnel and other objects of conformity attestation subject to mandatory conformity attestation;
— technical normative legal acts in the field of technical regulation and standardization on compliance to which mandatory assessment is carried out;
— forms of mandatory conformity attestation.
At formation of the nomenclature of products, services, personnel and other objects of conformity assessment, subject to mandatory conformity approval in the Republic of Belarus are used following criteria:
— the potential hazard of products, services, personnel activity and functioning of other objects of conformity assessment for life, health and human heredity, property and environment;
— incompatibility of technology of national and foreign production.

Conditions of importation into the Republic of Belarus of products, subject to mandatory conformity attestation
In the contracts concluded on delivery to the Republic of Belarus of products, subject to mandatory conformity attestation, should be provided for the implementation of mandatory conformity attestation of delivered products.
For importation on the customs territory of the Republic of Belarus of products, subject to subject to mandatory conformity attestation, in customs authorities shall be submitted together with the customs declaration the conformity certificate issued in the Republic of Belarus by accredited certification body, or registered in the Republic of Belarus by the accredited certification body the conformity declaration accepted by the manufacturer (seller).
Conformity certificates of import consignments in those cases when the terms of their certification, including periods of tests, exceed the established standard operation time for customs registration of goods, can be issued by the certification bodies for the limited period on the basis of a declaration of the importer on the products conformity to the established requirements, with carrying out by the certification body of the import consignment identification and its subsequent certification in accordance with the established procedure after customs registration prior to the beginning of sale.
The order of importation on customs territory of the Republic of Belarus of products, subject to mandatory conformity attestation, is established by the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the State Committee for standardization of the Republic of Belarus.

The realization of products, rendering of services, activity of the personnel and functioning of other objects, subject to mandatory conformity attestation in the Republic of Belarus, without presence of documents of conformity assessment is forbidden.
