Mandatory Conformity Attestation

Obligatory certification is realized by the accredited certification body on the basis of a contract with the applicant for conformity attestation.

The schemes of conformity attestation applying for obligatory certification of certain kinds of products, services, personnel and other objects of conformity assessment are established by corresponding technical regulation and in case if conformity attestation schemes are not established or the technical regulation is absent – by the technical normative legal act in the field of technical regulation and standardization, approved by the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus.

If the conformity attestation scheme establishes the necessity of products testing, they shall be tested by the accredited testing laboratory (centre) on the basis of a contract with the applicant for conformity attestation.
