Objectives and principles of accreditation

confirmation of the competence of legal entities of the Republic of Belarus or foreign legal entities for carrying out conformity assessment works or testing of objects of conformity assessment in a specific scope of accreditation;

ensuring confidence of the applicants for conformity attestation, applicants for carrying out testing and consumers of products (works, services) to the activity of accredited certification bodies and accredited testing laboratories (centres);

creation of conditions for mutual recognition of results of activity of accredited certification bodies and accredited testing laboratories (centres) at the international level

Principles of accreditation

voluntariness;

openness and accessibility of accreditation procedures;

securing of equal conditions for applicants of accreditation;

inadmissibility of combining the accreditation and conformity assessment activities
