Gosstandart100th anniversary of the establishment of the Belarusian Chamber of Measures and Weights

The history of Belarusian metrology began 100 years ago.
On February 29, 1924, the People's Commissariat of Finance of Belarus issued Order No. 47 on the establishment of the Belarusian Chamber of Weights and Measures. Before that there was no independent verification organization in the Republic of Belarus.
Social and political transformations, destructive Great Patriotic War, restoration of the national economic complex, transition to market economy, modern integration processes and digitalization – metrology proved its demand for the economy and society at all times.
